[THANJAVUR STYLE PRAWN CURRY]
Prawn is hubby’s favorite, I made this recipe very in simple way and without coconut . This is best side dish for idlis, dosa, Idiyappam..Even u can serve it with hot rice...

Ingredients:
- Prawn-500 grams
- Oil as required
- Mustard seeds-1tsp
- Curry leaves- a spring
- Mint leaves- a spring
- Onion chopped- 1 no
- Tomato chopped-1 no
- Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder-1tsp
- Coriander powder-1tbsp
- Garam masala powder-1 tsp
- Green chilli-2 slit
- Tamarind paste-2 tsp
- Water as required
- Salt as required
Method:
- First clean the prawn and keep separately.
- Then pan oil and add mustard seeds allow to pop up them.
- Now add curry leaves, onion chopped ,mint leaves saute till golden colour.
- Then add tomato chopped,Ginger&Garlic paste cook till they mushy.
- Then add all spice powder(red chilli powder,Garam masala powder,Turmeric powder,Coriander powder) mix well.
- Now add prawns and required water allow to boil well.
- Then add Tamarind paste cook it till raw smell gone.
- Atlast add coriander leaves and serve it with hot rice.
