Hi this is my 100th recipe posting in my blog..And this is my favourite recipe for me ,very tasty and delicious..

Chicken 65 Recipe- Restaurant Style Chicken 65, is a delicious, juicy, spicy, red, deep fried chicken chunks dish...

The most popular dish prepared in most of the restaurants and street food stalls.It is most commonly served as a snack or quick appetizer accompanied by onion slices, slit green chilies and lemon wedges. The bursting flavor of green chilly, garlic, ginger and curry leaves makes the dish so special and divine. I simply feel it’s delicious every single time I taste. The detailed recipe with step by step cooking pictures follows.

 Street food style chicken 65:

prep time:10 min
cooking time:20 mins
Marination time:1 hours

Ingredients:


  • Chicken – 1 kg boneless cut into small pieces
  • Chilli Powder – 2 tbsp
  • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1 tsp
  • Garam masala powder-1 tbsp
  • Ginger&Garlic paste-1tbsp
  • Lemon Juice or Vinegar – 1 tbsp or to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Thick curd-2 tbsp
  • Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu – 1/4 cup
  • All Purpose Flour / Maida – 1/4 cup
  • Corn Flour / Corn Starch – 1/4 cup
  • Oil for Deep Frying

For seasoning:

  • Curry leaves-1 spring
  • Onion chopped-1/2 onion
  • Ginger&garlic paste-1 tsp
  • Green Chilli- 2 chopped
  • Black pepper powder-1 tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Lemon Juice-1 tsp
  • Oil-1 tsp

Method:

  1. Mix all the ingredients in the marinate list with the chicken and let it marinate for 1 hour..
  2. Heat oil for deep frying and add in the chicken pieces in that and fry till golden brown..Drain and set aside..
  3. Now heat 1 tsp of oil and fry some curry leaves and green chilli  in that.
  4. Sprinkle some ginger&garlic paste ,salt ,pepper and lemon juice mix well.
  5. Throw chicken it and add toss well.
  6. And serve it with hot rice.

1)Take chopped chicken in a bowl

2) Add in ginger & garlic paste with salt

3) Add all spice powder

4)  Add lemon juice or vinegar

5) Add curd

 6) Mix well,Leave this to marinate for 30 mins or overnight

7) Now take it out

8) Then add all three flour

9) Mix well

10) Heat the oil for deep frying

11) Drop the chicken

12) Fry till golden colour

13)Drain and kept aside

14)heat oil in a pan

15)add curry leaves 

16)add chopped onions and green chilli

17)then add ginger&garlic paste saute well

18)add lemon juice mix well

19)Add black pepper powder

20)now throw fried chicken

21)add salt toss well

22)Serve it with sauce
