Red coconut chutney recipes:

Ingredients:

  • Coconut-1 cup
  • Pottu kadalai-2 tbsp
  • Garlic-3 no
  • Shallots/Small onions- 3 no
  • Ginger-Small piece
  • Red chilli-4 no
  • Tamarind-Small piece
  • Salt-As required
  • Water-As required
For tempering:
  • Oil-1 tbsp
  • Mustard seeds/kaduku-1tsp
  • Urad dal/ullundu-1tsp
  • Curry leaves-a spring
  • Hing/perungayam-1 tsp

Method:

  1. Take all ingredients in a blender, add water and puree smooth. Pour it in a bowl.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add all seasoning ingredients in it and fry till golden. Pour this over the chutney and mix well.
  3. Serve with idli, dosa.

2)Then add red chilli, tamarind in a blender
3)And grain it with adding little water
4)Then transfer into bowl and add salt

5)mix well
6)Heat oil in a pan ,add mustard seeds and urad dal
7)Add in curry leaves and hing

8)Transfer into bowl
9)And serve it with dosa or idli
