Ingredients:
- Coconut-1 cup
- Pottu kadalai-2 tbsp
- Garlic-3 no
- Shallots/Small onions- 3 no
- Ginger-Small piece
- Red chilli-4 no
- Tamarind-Small piece
- Salt-As required
- Water-As required
- Oil-1 tbsp
- Mustard seeds/kaduku-1tsp
- Urad dal/ullundu-1tsp
- Curry leaves-a spring
- Hing/perungayam-1 tsp
Method:
- Take all ingredients in a blender, add water and puree smooth. Pour it in a bowl.
- Heat oil in a pan, add all seasoning ingredients in it and fry till golden. Pour this over the chutney and mix well.
- Serve with idli, dosa.
