Chili chutney or Milaigai chutney with step by step picture.

Its very easy to prepare and very tasty ,spicy and very delicious chutney.

CHILLI CHUTNEY RECIPES:

Ingredients:

  • Red Chillies - 10
  • Garlic - 4 large cloves
  • Salt to taste
  • Gingelly Oil - 4 tbsp
  • Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
  • Urad dal - 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves -a sprig
  • Hing/Perungayam-1tsp
  • Tamarind-1 inch
  • Water -as required

Method:

  1. Now lets make chutney. Take dry red chillies, tamarind and garlic in a blender.
  2. Add in salt.
  3. Grind it into a smooth paste adding little bit water.
  4. Heat oil in pan and add mustard seed ,let it sizzle
  5. Then add urad dal, curry leaves, hing.
  6. And transfer into chutney and mix well.
  7. Serve this chutney with Dosa and idli.
