EGG TAWA FRY/MUTTAI TAWA FRY


This is like a quick recipe which you can make when you have minimum time to make side dishes for rice. Todays lunch is a combo of easy dishes..I made this and served with a easy tomato rasam and the combination was wonderful.

Ingredients:

  • Eggs - 2 Fully boiled & Peeled 
  • Oil - 2 to 3 Tbs for Pan Frying 

    For Coating:

    • Rice Flour / Arisi Mavu – 2 tbsp
    • Sambar powder – 1 tsp
    • Pepper Powder – 2 tsp
    • Ginger garlic paste -1tsp
    • Turmeric Powder / Manjal Podi – 1/4 tsp
    • Salt to taste
    • Water as needed

    Method:

    1. Mix all the ingredients for coating. Apply it over boiled halved eggs.
    2. Heat oil in a frying pan, place eggs in hot oil and fry till golden on both sides.
    3. Serve hot.

    1) Take boiled egg, remove the shell and kept aside


    2) Then cut into half


    3) Take rice flour in a bowl


    4) Add all spice powder and salt


    5) Add ginger&garlic paste


    6) Now add little water mix well to a smooth paste


    7) In paste add egg mix well


    8)Place the egg in masala and the coated eggs 


    9)Add the oil and Cook on both sides till golden and crispy


    10)Enjoy
