Ingredients:
- Boiled Tuvaram paruppu/Toor dhal-1 cup
- Green chilli chopped-1 no
- Tomato chopped-1 no
- Salt as per taste
- Turmeric powder-1tsp
- Ghee-1tsp
For seasoning:
- Mustard seeds/kaduku- 1tsp
- Cumin seeds/jeera-1tsp
- Curry leaves- a spring
- Hing/perungayam-1tsp
- Oil-1tbsp
Method:
- Take 1 cup of boiled tuvaram paruppu ,if u don't have pressure cook the dhal and use it.
- Heat oil in a pan, add mustard ,cumin seeds and crackle them.
- And add curry leaves and hing.
- Now add chopped green chilli and tomato saute for 2 min
- Then add salt, turmeric powder and cook till it turns into mushy .
- Then transfer this tempering into boiled paruppu and mis well.
- Now at this stage add ghee for flavour.
- Serve it with hot rice.
