Ingredients:

  • Boiled Tuvaram paruppu/Toor dhal-1 cup
  • Green chilli chopped-1 no
  • Tomato chopped-1 no
  • Salt as per taste
  • Turmeric powder-1tsp
  • Ghee-1tsp

For seasoning:

  • Mustard seeds/kaduku- 1tsp
  • Cumin seeds/jeera-1tsp
  • Curry leaves- a spring
  • Hing/perungayam-1tsp
  • Oil-1tbsp

Method:

  1. Take 1 cup of boiled tuvaram paruppu ,if u don't have pressure cook the dhal and use it.
  2. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard ,cumin seeds and crackle them.
  3. And add curry leaves and hing.
  4. Now add chopped green chilli and tomato saute for 2 min
  5. Then add salt, turmeric powder and cook till it turns into mushy .
  6. Then transfer this tempering into  boiled paruppu and mis well.
  7. Now at this stage add ghee for flavour.
  8. Serve it with hot rice.
