Dal is a very simple basic recipe but looks very vibrant ... i made this recipe from leftover
Thuvaram /split gram/yellow lentil paruppu in fridge in simple way.Dal is very healthy
dish for baby even for us.Mainly for growing kids dal is very healthy food..
Soon i vl share many dal recipes in simple way to my list.while i travelling north and i learned
this from dhaba and i post this recipe for this blog...

Rajasthan dhaba simple dal tadka recipe:
Easy and nutritious dal recipe with aromatic masala...

Ingredients:
- split gram/ yellow lentil/Thuvaram paruppu- 1cup
- Ghee -2tbsp
- cumin seed-1tsp
- mustard seed-1tsp
- onion -1/4 finely chopped
- Ginger & Garlic -1/2 tsp crushed
- Green chilli -1 tbsp finely chopped
- Tomato-1/4 cup finely chopped
- Coriander leaves- a handful finely chopped
- Hing/perungayam - pinch
- Turmeric powder-1/2 tsp
- Red chilli powder-1/2 tsp
Method:
- Heat oil or ghee in a pan add mustard let it sizzle.
- Now add cumin, green chilli ,onion and ginger&garlic mix well .cook till golden.
- Add in tomato chopped ,salt ,turmeric powder and cook till its mash well .
- When oil separates out add cooked dal mix well and bring it to a boil.
- Add in coriander leaves and mix well.
- This important step ,take one spoon add ghee little bit ,when its heated add red chilli powder bring it to boil and pour on dal
- serve.
