We all know pesto is a dish that can be made only with basil…but i made a twist in this recipe and i prepare a pesto sauce with mint herbs and it comes out very tasty and delicious !

This is base sauce we can use in  salad , sandwich ,lamb, chicken ,fish and for pasta etc...And this is very healthy also because i use almonds and herbs.. And we can Make our own delicious Mint pesto sauce in just 15 minutes itself.

Mint Pesto Sauce Recipes:

prep time:10 min
total time:10 min

Ingredients:

  • Mint leaves- a bunch
  • Almonds/Badam-8 to 15 no blanched
  • Garlic cloves- 5 to 8 no
  • Olive oil-1/4 cup
  • Salt as per taste
  • Onions-1/4 chopped
  • Parmesan cheese-1/4 cup 

Method:

  1. To blanch almonds,Put almonds in hot water for 15 mins…After that take it press it…the peel comes of right away..
  2. In a blender add mint ,garlic, onion and almonds and pulse it for few times..
  3. And add cheese and pulse it till almonds gets broked up..
  4. Add in olive oil in a blender on till it gets mixed in and everything looks blended well..
  5. Tip this into a bowl and add in some more oil  and salt in this..Mix well …
  6. Store this in fridge for upto a week..You could use this for making pizza, pasta and many more…

7)Transfer into bowl add extra olive oil and salt mix well
8)Serve
