FAST FOOD STYLE CHICKEN FRIED RICE



I made this recipe like road side fast food chicken fried rice, Me and my hubby like fast food items so i made this recipe for my hubby and for this blog..

This recipe i learned from fast food chef and i published in this blog. chicken fried rice was very tasty, yummy....

If you have some cooked rice and fried chicken left over stored in fridge, then you can make a tasty dish.. if you are a vegetarian just skip chicken and add more veggies like carrot, tofu and different peepers, even broccoli.

I used seeraga samba rice, you can use basmati  rice or ordinary cooked rice...

FRIED RICE RECIPE:

Ingredients:

  • cooked rice- any rice basmati or seeraga samba rice or ordinary rice 1 cup
  • oil-2 tbsp
  • Green chilli-2 slit
  • Onion - 1 cup finely chopped
  • Sugar-1 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • Soy sauce-2tsp
  • Vinegar-1 tsp
  • Cabbage-1/4cup
  • Carrot-1/4 cup
  • Capsicum-1/4 cup
  • Spring  onion a handful chopped
  • Roasted chicken_ 1 cup finely chopped
  • Ajinomoto - pinch(optional)

Method:

  1. Heat oil in kadai . add onion & green chillies. saute for a min.
  2. Now add all chopped veggies toss well.
  3. Then add sugar, salt, Pepper powder mix well.
  4. Add chicken pieces mix well.
  5. Then add sauce, vinegar and ajinomoto toss well.
  6. last add rice tossing on high heat for 5 min or so.
  7. Garnish with spring onions and serve.
