BLACK CHANNA OATS DOSA/OATS CHANNA CHILLA

Black channa oats dosa-in this recipe, we will make a weight loss recipe, which has the goodness of soaked oats and channa. Slow digestion & complex carbs of the oats and protein from the channa .

This is a super healthy breakfast recipe for weight loss which is called oats channa chilla or pancake

Oats channa chilla recipes

Ingredients:
  • Soaked oats-1 cup
  • Soaked channa/black channa-1 cup
  • Lemon juice-1.2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Baking soda-1tsp
  • Red chilli-2 no
  • Jeera/cumin seed-1tbsp
  • Ginger-1 inch
  • Onion chopped-1 no
  • Tomato chopped-1 no
  • Coriander leaves-1tbsp

Method:



  1. Take channa and soaked in water for 4 hours
  2. Then soak oats in water and add lemon juice in oats while soaking, because without adding acid like lemon or curd in oats it  will cause boat in  our stomach.
  3. After four hours it was double in size.
  4. Then take both in a blender and grain it into paste.
  5. After grinding ,transfer the mixture into the bowl add salt, baking powder (optional)
  6. Now add green chilli, coriander leaves chopped, onion and tomato chopped mix well.The batter should be thick but pouring consistency.
  7. Heat a tawa. Wipe it with a oiled tissue paper to season the tawa,
  8. Pour a ladleful of batter and make little thin dosa. Drizzle oil around the sides.
  9. Cook till the bottom turns golden, flip over and cook. Once it is cooked, remove and serve with chutney.

1) Take black channa and oats in a separate bowl
2) Then soak both black channa and oats with water separately
3) In oats add lemon juice and mix well
4) And soak for 4 hours 
5) Now see it was double in size 
6) Take in blender and add red chilli, jeera &ginger
7) Grain it till smooth
8) Then transfer into another container
9) Add salt &baking soda (i did't use baking soda is optional only)
10) Add water to get dosa consistency
11) Take chopped onion, chopped tomato and coriander leaver
12) Add all ingredients in a batter
13) Mix well


14) Heat tawa and take a ladle full of batter and pour it in
15) Make little thin dosa and drizzle oil around the sides
16)Flip over once the bottom is brown
17) Serve it with chutney


Recipe notes:

  • Add lemon juice in oats while soaking, because without adding acid like lemon or curd in oats it  will cause boat in  our stomach.
  • Then channa and oats wants to soak for atleast 4 hours
