PRAWN MASALA RICE/ERAL MASALA RICE


Now when talking about this recipe. This is a quick recipe which can be made in less than 30 mins. Actually prawn takes only few mins to cook. But the making of masala take a little time and the balance of the flavour and taste should be perfect. So please try it and let me know how it turned out..

Here i used normal boiled rice, we can use basmathi rice also in this recipe.i didn't use any onion or tomato in this recipe.
this is very simple and easy rice recipe also.

Prawn masala  rice recipe:

Ingredients:


  • Prawns-200 grams
  • Garlic crushed-4 no
  • Green chilli-1 no
  • Oil-as required
  • Red chilli powder-1 tbsp
  • Coriander powder-1/2 tbsp
  • Salt-as required
  • Garam masala-1tsp
  • Sombu powder/fennel powder-1tsp
  • Black pepper powder/Milagu powder-1tsp
  • Turmeric powder-1tsp
  • Mint leaves-a spring
  • Water -as required
  • Curd-2 tbsp
  • Boiled rice- 1 cup
  • Ghee-1 tbsp

Method:

  1. First clean the prawn and keep aside.
  2. Heat pan in a oil and add crushed garlic and green chilli ,roast lightly.
  3. Then add cleaned prawns mix well.
  4. Now add all spice powder mix well and add mint leaves .
  5. Add required water and allow to boil well.
  6. For tangy flavour add curd mix well.
  7. Cook till  we get gravy consistency and oil separates out.
  8. Then add boiled rice and add ghee for nice flavour mix well.
  9. And serve it with raita.

9)After oil sucks out
10)Add boiled rice and ghee for nice flavour
